Adam Thomas is MOMA’s chief people and experience officer. He joined the company in 2024 and is responsible for helping develop MOMA’s physical, digital and cultural employee experience. He leads the People, IT, facilities and communications teams, developing talent strategies that foster a vibrant company culture.
Adam brings to MOMA more than 20 years of experience in human resources in highly innovative environments, with a focus on talent development and coaching, leading change and transformation, and building team and organizational effectiveness. Prior to MOMA, Adam was the Chief People Officer & Corporate Secretary at Synlogic, Inc., where he led the company talent and operations from early pre-clinical stage, until Phase 3 development. Previously, Adam held roles as the Head of HR for R&D at Shire, Head of HR for R, D & Engineering at SC Johnson. Earlier in his career, Adam spent 12 years at Pfizer where he held roles of increasing responsibility across the company’s R&D organization both in the UK and the US.
Adam holds at LLB in Law from University of Edinburgh, an MA in Human Resources from Bristol Business School, and an MBA from Boston University.
